Restorative Justice
Restorative Justice gives people affected by crime the opportunity to communicate with the person responsible, either directly or indirectly, in a safe and supported environment facilitated by trained practitioners. This can help victims feel heard, ask questions, and move forward following the impact of crime.
Research has shown that Restorative Justice can have positive outcomes for victims, offenders and wider society, including high levels of victim satisfaction and reduced reoffending. Victim Support Warwickshire is keen to raise awareness of this service.
