Meningitis Outbreak

We are aware of the concerning reports regarding the meningitis outbreak in the Kent area, and we are deeply saddened by the loss of lives caused by this disease.

Unfortunately, we are not currently able to offer vaccinations outside the standard UK immunisation schedule. We are awaiting further guidance from the government and NHSE on any potential changes. If you become eligible for vaccination, we will contact you.

Current vaccine eligibility:

  • MenB (Bexsero): This vaccine is currently offered to children under 2 years old. There is no catch‑up programme available at this time.
  • MenACWY (MenQuadfi): This vaccine is currently offered to individuals aged 14–25. There is no programme in place to offer it earlier or outside this age group.
